There are only two local restaurants located at Callala Beach.

Club Callala is located at 43 Callala Beach Road, Callala Beach and is a traditional country bowling club.

It’s a worthwhile visit to either have a casual game of lawn bowls (and kids are welcome to play too) or you can grab a bite to eat at The Fiery Grill which is open from 11:00am till 7.30pm with kids meals starting at only $7.50 and main adult meals averaging $20.00 it’s a great option for a night off cooking.  The bistro also has a small kids corner with lots of toys to keep them entertained.  And coming soon a new purpose built kids room!!!

Watch your favourite sporting event on the big screen and if you are planning on having a few drinks then the courtesy bus is available Monday to Saturday from 4pm and Sundays from 3:30pm.

The club often has great kids school holiday and weekend activities too such as craft, bingo, discos, cooking classes, movie nights etc so it’s a great way to also entertain the kids. For more information of events and activities check out or

Salute Pizzeria & Restuarant is a small little restuarant located at 3 Parkes Cresent, Callala Beach – great for takeaway italian but best known for thier delicious pizzas.  Great gluten free options and delivery is $2.  A great option for either dining in or out.  Highly recommend

Other local restaurants are within approximately 20 minutes drive from Callala and include Greenwell Point Bowling and Sports Club, The Old Butter Factory & Pelicans Rocks. Huskisson is also a culinary hub with many great restuarants, the famous Husky Pub and other smaller cafes such at 5 Little Pigs. Several fine wineries are located within an easy 30 minute drive of Callala Beach including Bundewallah Estate, Cambewarra Estate, Coolangatta Estate, The Silos and Crooked River Wines.

Local shops at Callala Bay include a good butcher, wine & spirits store, newsagency, hardware and a comprehensive grocery store (IGA). Grocery delivery from the local IGA can be arranged prior to your arrival upon request. If you prefer more of a gourmet selection of foods you can stop off in Gerroa, Berry or Nowra on your way through. Fresh seafood is available in Nowra or some of the freshest seafood on the South Coast is available from Greenwell Point, 10 minutes from Callala Bay.

The closest major shopping hub is located at Nowra with all the major chains such as Kmart, Woolworths, IGA etc.
